Capital College of Higher Education held its first graduation ceremony at State Academy Hall, Kohima, with Professor Zavise Rume as guest of honour.

DIMAPUR — Capital College of Higher Education (CCHE) held its first graduation ceremony on Tuesday at the State Academy Hall, Kohima.
According to the press release issued by the media cell of the college, Professor Zavise Rume, director, Vocational Studies, International University Nagaland, was the guest of honour.
In his commencement speech, Rume stressed the importance of “skills” in today’s education system, stating that literacy will have no relevance without skills.

He encouraged the graduates to uphold the dignity of the degree they earned, to reflect this dignity in their conduct and conversation, and to show themselves worthy of the saints.
Earlier in the programme, Dr. Zokho Venuh, principal of CCHE, in his welcome address, congratulated the graduating batches of 2024 and 2025.
The speech on behalf of the valedictorians was delivered by Tovini Kiho (2024 batch) and Khrievizo Natso (2025 batch), while the charge to the graduates was declared by Dr. Rukulu Kezo Puro, head of department, Department of English.
