District Hospital Dimapur Blood Centre signs MoU with ICFAI University Nagaland for blood donation.

DIMAPUR — The Blood Centre at District Hospital Dimapur signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ICFAI University Nagaland on September 18 to promote voluntary blood donation on the theme “Saving lives through voluntary blood donation”.
According to an update, the MoU was signed by Medical Officer of Blood Centre at District Hospital Dimapur Dr. Rongsenmar Lkr and Registrar of ICFAI University Nagaland Dr. Rupanka Bhuyan in the presence of officials from both organisations.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rongsenmar stressed the need to promote voluntary blood donation drives across the state and create greater awareness regarding the importance of regular donations.
Dr. Bhuyan noted that voluntary blood donation is a noble form of social service and expressed that the university looks forward to contributing to the cause through the collaboration.
The partnership aims to strengthen institutional collaboration and encourage community participation in voluntary blood donation to ensure the availability of safe blood for patients in need.
