DIMAPUR — Cornerstone Theological College (CTC), Urra village, Dimapur, organised an “Amateur Badminton Tournament Men’s Double” on November 15 to raise funds for the construction of its chapel hall.


According to an update, Kitoho Rotokha, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) in charge of Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh, attended the occasion as the chief guest.


In his address, he encouraged the students and the participants to engage in sports as an essential component of holistic development alongside academic pursuits. He further urged the gathering to continue honing their sporting abilities, stating that aspiring beyond amateur levels is vital, as excellent sportsmanship is the need of the hour.


The tournament was won by William Zeliang and Lanuyabang Imsong, while the duo of Azikeh Sangtam and Aduzo Dozo secured the second position.
