DIMAPUR — The Assam Rifles conducted various community outreach initiatives in Nagaland on Tuesday.
According to an update, at Government Middle School, Kejanglwa, in Peren district, the Assam Rifles distributed stationery and sports items to students.
The programme aimed to encourage academic excellence and physical well-being while easing the financial burden on families.
In Jalukie, a friendly football match was organised at Midland Colony between local youth and Assam Rifles personnel. It said that the match drew a large crowd of residents.

At G Rio School, Kohima, a motivational talk on Operation Sindoor was conducted, which was attended by 400 students.
The lecture aimed to familiarise students with the significance of the operation, highlighting the professionalism, preparedness, and commitment of the Indian Armed Forces in safeguarding national security.
Participants were sensitised to the challenges of modern warfare and acquainted with the pivotal role of air defence in ensuring the sovereignty of the nation.
