90.8 Hills FM and Intanki National Park sign a six-month MoU to promote forest and wildlife conservation awareness through radio and digital platforms.
DIMAPUR — 90.8 Hills FM – The Voice of Change – and Intanki National Park (INP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen public awareness and community participation in forest and wildlife conservation.
The MoU, signed on Tuesday, will come into effect in September 2026 and remain in force for six months, until February 2027, an update stated.
The partnership seeks to bring conservation-related information and awareness closer to communities through radio and digital platforms.
Under the agreement, 90.8 Hills FM will support the dissemination of awareness content on forest protection, wildlife conservation, biodiversity, responsible human-wildlife interaction and the importance of protecting Intanki National Park.

The collaboration will include radio-based awareness programmes, public-interest messages and digital content aimed at making conservation issues more accessible and engaging for listeners. It will also provide a platform to highlight conservation efforts and the rich natural heritage of Intanki National Park.
The partnership underscores the importance of communication and community participation in conservation, recognising that the protection of forests and wildlife extends beyond protected-area boundaries and requires greater public understanding and involvement.
During the six-month period, 90.8 Hills FM and Intanki National Park will work together on agreed conservation awareness initiatives aimed at promoting responsible environmental practices and strengthening community engagement in wildlife and forest protection.
