DIMAPUR — The 36th Regional Level Youth Parliament of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Tinsukia Region was held at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dimapur, on Wednesday.
According to an update, eight schools from the region participated in the event, which provided a platform for students to simulate the functioning of the parliamentary system, engage in debates, discuss important issues, and propose solutions.
The programme aimed to foster a deeper understanding of democratic principles, encourage critical thinking, and empower students to become active participants in shaping their future.

The day commenced with an inaugural ceremony attended by the chief guest, former MLA and Advisor to the government of Nagaland, Yitachu.
NG Sarjubala Devi, assistant commissioner KVS RO Tinsukia, attended as guest of honour, while MH Shimray, venue principal, faculty members, guest speakers, and students joined the inaugural ceremony.
