The Directorate of Industries and Commerce has invited Nagaland artisans to apply for the state-level award in handicrafts and tribal textiles.

DIMAPUR — The Directorate of Industries and Commerce has invited applications from indigenous artisans of Nagaland for the state-level award in the field of handicrafts and tribal textiles.
The eligibility criteria state that the applicant must be a bona fide artisan of Nagaland, actively engaged in the handicraft and tribal textile sector for a minimum of five years, and must be 18 years of age or above, stated a DIPR report. Government employees are not eligible to apply.
The application forms will be available from September 1 at the Textile Branch, Room No. 62 (top floor), Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Kohima, on all working days during office hours from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Completed application forms must be submitted in person to the same office along with samples/articles to the Textile Branch on or before September 30.
It further informed that applications received after the deadline will not be considered under any circumstances. Craft categories will be attached along with the forms.
