S Toiho Yeptho addressing the Zunheboto DPDB meeting on
Wednesday.
- DIMAPUR — The
Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for May was
held on Wednesday at the Deputy Commissioner conference hall.
- According to a DIPR report, the meeting was chaired by the
Deputy Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) and newly inducted
chairman of the DPDB Zunheboto district, S Toiho Yeptho. The meeting had the
presence of Deputy Commissioner of Zunheboto, Dharam Raj.
- On the occasion, the board deliberated on the agendas of the
registration of societies, Ahupe Foundation Society and Jordan Heights Society,
which were approved for further procedures.

- The proposal to name the two-lane road from Sedzü/Yeti River
to Zunheboto town as Chakhessng-Sumi Brotherhood Road was thoroughly
deliberated on by the board and approved for onwards approvals and procedures.
- Earlier, the board welcomed the newly inducted DPDB chairman
and deputy commissioner to the board with a welcome ceremony before the meeting
procedures.
- The board meeting later witnessed a PowerPoint presentation
from the departments of Fisheries and Food and Civil Supplies.
