DIMAPUR — The Zeliangrong Baudi (ZB-AMN), the Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF-AMN), and the All Zeliangrong Students' Union (AZSU-AMN) extended gratitude to the NSCN/GPRN for lifting the ban and the "de-recognised" status placed upon the Zeliangrong apex bodies.
In a press release, the bodies stated that the step was significant as it fostered unity and strengthened the collective spirit of the Zeliangrong Naga community across Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland.
They viewed it as a positive move toward maintaining peace and mutual understanding within the Naga family, adding that their organisations remain committed to advocating for the cultural, social, and political aspirations of their people while looking forward to working collaboratively for peace and progress.

They mentioned that on July 16, 2018, the NSCN-IM had imposed the ban, which weighed heavily on the spirit of the people. They noted that the act of revocation was not merely an administrative decision but a profound act of healing and an acknowledgement of the sentiments of the Zeliangrong community.
The organisations further said that the lifting of the ban marked a step towards restoring dignity, unity, and peaceful co-existence within the Naga family, signalling the beginning of a shared journey towards common hope.
They also expressed appreciation for the wisdom of the Collective Leadership and the efforts of the Coordination Committee of the Zeliangrong Region, whose commitment finally brought an end to what they described as a long and painful chapter.
