The programme also included speeches from the Nagaland Zeliang People Organisation (NZPO), Zeliangrong Mipui Organisation Nagaland (ZMON), Zeme Council Nagaland (ZCN), and Rongmei Council Nagaland (RCN). The speakers and the president highlighted the need to foster unity, a common language, the importance of population, strengthening brotherhood, and protecting and preserving land and resources.
The resource person, Dr. Ruangmei, spoke on the theme and urged the people to embrace Zeliangrong differences for progressive development as individuals and as a growing community. He stated that "histories were made by generations and not by the books; Zeliangrong was made by God and not by 1947."
He clarified that before 1963 there was no indigenous issue and all are equal. He added that the Zeliangrong people, with 12,000 sq km of land and being the second largest tribe after the Boro in Northeast India, need to unite in God's wisdom, noting that "nothing is possible without people; nothing will last without institutions."
Andrew Disong, General Secretary of ZB(N), presented the secretary's report for the 2022-2026 tenure. Amonbo Zeliang, Vice President of ZB(N), proposed the vote of thanks. The gathering sang the Zeliangrong song "Penui sa lei, tinghu giamme ki bambe lam", and Tateutuing Nriame, elder of PCI New Beisumpui Village, offered the closing prayer.
