DIMAPUR — The Women's department of Zeme Baptist Church, Kohima (ZBCK), visited the Operation Salvage Rehabilitation Centre in Heningkunglwa and the Senior Citizen Home in Ngwalwa, Peren, on April 25 as part of its outreach programme leading up to its upcoming golden jubilee celebration.
Speaking on the occasion, Adauna Zeliang, Advisor to the Women's Department, lauded the administration of the centre for their service.

According to an update, she encouraged the inmates, stating that they are blessed to be in a place of recovery, and urged them to follow discipline and remain hopeful.
She stated that recovery is not just freedom from addiction but the discovery of a new life.

The programme was chaired by Peihau Chaplin of Operation Salvage, while the inmates presented the Operation Salvage anthem.
As part of the outreach, the team also visited the senior citizen home in Ngwalwa, where they spent time in prayer with the elderly and distributed cash and essential items.
