DIMAPUR — A total of 47 units of blood were voluntarily donated during blood donation camps organised by two churches in Kohima over the weekend.
On April 25, Faith Harvest Church organised a blood donation camp at the church hall as part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations, which saw the participation of 40 voluntary donors.

According to an update, the Department of Transfusion Medicine, Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima, facilitated the collection of blood.
Meanwhile, the Salvation Army Church (Mizo Fellowship) conducted a similar camp at Naga Hospital, Kohima, on Sunday, marking the 109th anniversary of its establishment in Northeast India.
A total of seven units of blood were collected during the programme.
