- DIMAPUR — The
Zale SHG Women Federation, Chetheba Block, National Self-Rural Livelihoods
Mission (NSRLM), Phek district, conducted its first annual general meeting on
Tuesday at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Thenyizu village.
- According to an update, the meeting was attended by two
representatives from each self-help group (SHG), with a total of 260 SHG
members.
- In his keynote address, Senovielhou Koza, block programme
manager, Block Mission Management Unit, Chetheba, highlighted the purpose of
the event, as well as the objectives and vision of the NSRLM.

- Guest speaker Nezelu Nyekha, executive director of the
Chakhesang Women Welfare Society, discussed the positive outcomes and
challenges of being in an SHG, encouraging the federation to be growth-oriented
and move forward together.
- During the second session, the annual action plan of the
cluster-level federation, the village-level organisation, and the business
development plan were approved by the attendees.
- The meeting concluded with the election of new office
bearers.
