Yimkhiung Youth Organisation detects anomalies in government offices in Pungro town.

DIMAPUR — The Yimkhiung Youth Organisation (YYO), during inspection to government offices in Pungro town under Kiphire district on June 12 and 13, found many offices locked and non-functional for an extended period.
According to an update from the organisation, the purpose of the visit was to assess performance, identify errors, understand ongoing challenges and foster healthy interactions with the officers and staff. The YYO expressed its commitment to assisting the offices in addressing those challenges.

“Our goal is to ensure efficient functioning, accountability and the best services for our people. We will explore every possible avenue to resolve the issues faced by the offices,” the statement read.
The organisation has instructed the offices to promptly correct the identified issues. Additionally, it urged all government officials and employees stationed in Yimkhiung to perform their duties honestly and warned that strict action would be taken against any officers and staff who are irregular or underperforming.
