DIMAPUR — The monthly Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) meeting of Bhandari subdivision was held at the conference hall of the Summer House-cum-guest house, Bhandari, Wokha, on Tuesday.
According to an update, during deliberations on the issues, H Lawrence, Deputy Director of Nagaland State Seed Farm, Merapani, Wokha, informed the house that the office of the Deputy Director Seed Farm, Merapani, had carried out extensive sensitisation and awareness campaigns in recent weeks targeting farm tenants, community leaders, and groups.
The objective was to maintain the status quo in the farm area and to raise any issues with the competent authority instead of taking the law into one’s own hands.
