Nagaland to see continued rain, thunderstorms and strong winds till April 14, IMD issues district-wise weather alerts state-wide.

KOHIMA — Nagaland is set to witness continued wet weather over the next few days, with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds forecast across several districts till April 13, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD stated that light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and winds of 30–40 kmph is likely across the state, with weather activity intensifying from April 11 onwards.

District-wise forecasts indicate that Mon, Longleng, Mokokchung and Wokha are likely to experience strong surface winds on April 11 and 12.
On April 12, districts including Tuensang, Dimapur and Peren may witness thunderstorms, lightning and squally winds. The weather is expected to remain unsettled on April 13 as well, with thunderstorms and lightning likely in Tuensang, Zunheboto, Kohima, Dimapur and Peren districts.
The IMD also warned of lightning activity across Nagaland on April 11.
