DIMAPUR — In a significant step toward strengthening student welfare and community support, the Naga Students’ Union Bangalore (NSUB) and the Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union Bangalore (ENSUB) signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with St. Claret College (Autonomous), Bengaluru and Sakra World Hospital.
In a joint press release, the NSUB and ENSUB stated that the MoU with St. Claret College establishes a structured partnership aimed at enhancing opportunities for Naga students, including fee concessions for those enrolling at the institution and access to campus infrastructure for union-led events.

In parallel, NSUB and ENSUB also partnered with Sakra World Hospital to expand healthcare access for the Naga community within and beyond Karnataka. The collaboration offers discounted medical services and extends support to individuals not covered under the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), providing much-needed financial relief.
In a joint statement, the presidents of NSUB and ENSUB said, “These partnerships mark a meaningful step toward building a stronger support system for the Naga community in Bengaluru and beyond.
“Education is not just about access, but about opportunity—and this MoU ensures that no Naga student is held back by financial or structural barriers. Access to healthcare is equally essential, especially in a city like Bengaluru, ensuring our people are supported during medical emergencies. Together, we hope to empower our community, uphold dignity, strengthen security, and foster a deeper sense of belonging.”
