DIMAPUR — The Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH), led by its President Yetshulhi Ngatsi along with the executives, paid a courtesy call on Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Minister Jacob Zhimomi on Saturday to discuss various issues pertaining to the welfare of the Chakhesang community in the western area and the larger Naga society.
According to an update, during the meeting, the WCH brought forth several concerns affecting the Chakhesang community residing in the western area, seeking the minister’s guidance and support.
It said that the minister listened attentively to the issues raised and offered suggestions for the development and progress of the Chakhesang community.

Zhimomi also apprised the team about the significant challenges facing the Naga society and emphasised the importance of maintaining peace and harmony, echoing the values of peaceful coexistence that have been the hallmark of the Naga forefathers.
The WCH expressed gratitude to the minister for his time and considered approach in addressing the concerns raised.
