Advisor Wangpang Konyak inaugurates the new office building for the District Programme Officer (Integrated Child Development Services) and CDPO in Mon.

DIMAPUR — Advisor for Social Welfare, Wangpang Konyak, attended the inauguration of the office building of the District Programme Officer (Integrated Child Development Services-ICDS) and Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) as the special guest on Wednesday at the Social Welfare Office Complex, Mon.
According to a DIPR report, in his speech, the advisor said that the Mon staff is fortunate enough to have their own office building, unlike other districts.
He encouraged the officials and staff to carry out their duty with sincerity and urged the staff to make the best use of gadgets provided by the government and improve their efficiency.
He also congratulated Talisunup Jamir and his team for completing the building construction within the stipulated time period of 18 months.

Secretary of Social Welfare, Limawabang Jamir, in his short speech, congratulated the Mon District Social Welfare Office staff for being one of the best-performing districts in the state and commended the hard work of the Anganwadi workers and helpers. He also encouraged the people for Aadhaar enrolment in order to benefit from government schemes, as most schemes utilise Aadhaar as ID proof.
Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Wennyei Konyak, said that it was a proud moment for the district and thanked the government of the day led by the chief minister. He encouraged the officials and the staff to keep up the good work and strive to be the best. He further assured full cooperation from the district administration to work for the welfare of the people.
Executive Engineer, Social Welfare, Talisunup Jamir, highlighted that the total project cost for the construction of the social welfare complex—construction of the district programme officer and CDPO office building (including retaining wall, security wall and CC compound pavement)—was INR 2,98,96,000 in his technical report.
