- DIMAPUR — A village walk for schoolchildren
was held on Monday in Zhavame village, under Phek district.
- Organised by the Tourism Board, Zhavame, the activity was
aimed at educating the village children about their roots and conveying the
importance of understanding their cultural ethics, stated an update.
- It said that the school students partake in various
activities, including village walks to historical sites, storytelling, and quiz
competitions.
- A total of 69 schoolchildren participated in the event,
where P Paul Dukru, jury board member of the Chakhesang Public Organisation
(CPO), village elder, and former village council chairman, was the resource
person for the day.
