  • DIMAPUR — On day two of the ongoing Frolic Cup at Medziphema Local Ground, United Falcon Club (UFC), Medziphema FC, Dream Team Tsiepama, and Libra FC emerged victorious in their respective matches.

  • According to an update, in the match between United Falcon Club and Lazer FC played in the morning, the first half saw the two teams failing to open their account.

  • The second half saw a dominating UFC, who took the game away. Viketuozo Vasa (45th and 56th min), Roshan Gurung (54th min), Keneingulie (57th min), and Ameka Shohe (66th min) were the goal scorers for UFC. The final score was 5-0 in favour of UFC.

  • The second match of the morning saw Medziphema FC completely dominating the game on all fronts. The young FC Khannougol, though putting up a tough fight, were no match for the seasoned Medziphema FC.

  • Manton (2nd min), Kanumdi (9th min), Ayen (20th, 26th, and 49th min), Moalong (25th & 35th min), and Sentilong (65th min) were the goal scorers. The final score was 8-0 in favour of Medziphema FC.

  • Dream Team Tsiepama defeated Detroit FC Kukidolong 6-1. Kevimezo Swu (21st min), Mhasivizo Geiso (26th min), Keneixhütso (28th and 34th min), Kevisezo (60th min), and Kekhrieseto Chalieu (67th min) scored for Dream Team. The consolation goal for Detroit FC came from John in the 15th minute.

  • The evening match between United FC Piphema and Libra FC saw a total of 7 goals being scored. Libra took the lead early when Seiminlun and Alumai found the net in the 14th and 16th minutes. United came back with a goal in the 19th minute through Sedevilie.

  • The second half saw a determined United FC, who took the lead with two back-to-back goals from Rovizo and Asezo in the 52nd and 54th minutes. However, the lead was short-lived when Lalminseh found the net for United in the 56th minute. The match seemed tied, but in extra time, Paolenlal found the net for United again. The final score was 4-3 in favour of Libra FC.
