MOKOKCHUNG — Vandrix FC (A) emerged victorious in Nagaland’s first Under-15 Futsal Tournament 2025, defeating ASFC Changtongya 1-0 in a tightly contested 30-minute final held at Mujabi Futsal Turf, Salangtem Ward, Mokokchung, on July 3.


The three-day tournament was organised by the Kichutip Sporting Association (KSA) under the aegis of the Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA), and featured 32 teams from across the state—spotlighting Nagaland’s emerging football talent.


The final saw Vandrix FC (A)’s Sabaan net the decisive goal, while ASFC Changtongya mounted a strong defensive effort. A single yellow card was issued to Vandrix player Hasmai in a heated moment, but the team held on to secure the championship.

The champions were awarded INR 30,000 and certificates, while runners-up ASFC Changtongya received INR 20,000 and certificates. Semi-finalists Soyim Boys (A) and Evergreen Club each received INR 5,000.


Individual awards recognised standout performances:


Best Goalkeeper: Lanunungkum (Vandrix FC A)


Highest Goal Scorer: Hengoulen (Evergreen Club) – 24 goals


Player of the Tournament: Moatemsu (ASFC Changtongya)


Each awardee received INR 3,000 and a certificate.


The closing ceremony was graced by Nokdier Imchen, Proprietor of M/s NI Enterprise, Mokokchung, as the Guest of Honour.
