DIMAPUR — Uttar Pradesh cruised to a dominant 6–1 victory over Tripura in Match No. 15 of Dr. Talimeren Ao Junior Girls’ National Football Championship 2025–26 (Tier 2) at Chümoukedima on Wednesday, powered by a superb hat-trick from forward Mansi.
A press release stated that UP stamped their authority from the outset with their high-pressing, possession-driven approach, enjoying 54% of the ball and registering 15 shots on target.
Tripura, despite periods of spirited defending, struggled to contain the constant attacking pressure.
Mansi opened the scoring as early as the 4th minute before Divya doubled the lead in the 17th.

Tripura clawed one back through Breejia in the 32nd minute, briefly shifting momentum, but Mansi struck again just before halftime to restore a comfortable 3–1 cushion.
The second half saw Uttar Pradesh tighten their grip further.
Anjali Yadav added the fourth in the 49th minute, followed by Mansi completing her hat-trick in the 61st to cap a standout individual performance.
A defensive mix-up resulted in an own goal by Tripura’s Dhanita in the 71st minute, sealing the rout.
Tripura managed two shots on target, one of which produced Breejia’s well-taken goal, but the match largely belonged to the clinical UP frontline.
