Assam crush Chandigarh 8-0 at Dr. T Ao Junior Girls National Football Championship

DIMAPUR — Assam defeated Chandigarh 8-0 in the ongoing Dr. T Ao Junior Girls National Football Championship 2025–26 (Tier II) at Chümoukedima on Tuesday.

According to an update, Assam opened the scoring in the 8th minute through Divia. Two minutes later, Sayasree doubled the lead in the 10th minute.

Mary scored the third goal in the 24th minute, while Lokhi added the fourth in the 35th minute. Mary scored her second goal in stoppage time (45+3), giving Assam a 5-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Sayasree scored her second goal in the 57th minute. Divia also added her second in the 80th minute. Mary completed her hat-trick in the 84th minute to seal the 8-0 victory.

Uttar Pradesh will play Tripura on December 3 at 6:30 pm.
