KOHIMA — An unidentified man was found hanging from a tree in Khuochiezhü below Forest Colony on Tuesday morning, in what police suspect to be a suicide case. Police are seeking public help to establish his identity.
Police said a team from South Police Station reached the spot after receiving a report at around 10:38 am and found the body of a male, believed to be a non-local, hanging about 15 feet above the ground.
The deceased is estimated to be 35–40 years old, about 5.7 feet tall, and was wearing a red jacket, black T-shirt and black shorts.
The body has been kept at the South Police Station morgue after completion of formalities.
