UDYAM, FSSAI registration drive held at Niuland

DIMAPUR — Niuland Town Council Hall hosted a one-day Enterprise (UDYAM) and Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) registration drive on August 19.

According to a DIPR report, the Department of Industries and Commerce in association with Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation Limited under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme organised the programme.

During the programme, 80 participants attended the registration drive, out of which 60 entrepreneurs were registered for UDYAM and 20 food-related businesses applied for FSSAI registration.

Itsato Zhimomi, functional manager, delivered the keynote address, while the RAMP team Niuland highlighted the purpose and benefits of UDYAM and FSSAI. Thereafter, the officials assisted the participants in the registration of UDYAM and FSSAI with the help of kiosks set up at the venue.
