Two Naga women kickboxers will represent Nagaland at the Khelo India Asmita Kickboxing Zonal League 2025–26 in Siliguri, West Bengal.

DIMAPUR — Two Naga women kickboxers —Nukshikala Jamir from Mokokchung and Lemnon L Konyak from Mon — will represent Nagaland at the Khelo India Asmita Kickboxing Zonal League (East Zone) 2025–26 scheduled to be held from February 26 to March 1 at Siliguri, West Bengal.
According to a press release issued by the Nagaland Association Kickboxing Organisation (NAKO), the two athletes will compete under the banner of NAKO and will be accompanied by Mongsen Longkumer, Coach, NAKO, and Alemtemsu Longchar, General Secretary, NAKO.
Nagaland will be competing with 11 other states in the East Zone league, which carries a total cash award of INR 11.66 lakh.

The release also stated that Naga men under NAKO recently brought laurels to the state by securing five medals — one gold, two silver, one bronze and one fourth position — in earlier competitions.
NAKO, which has been in existence since 2000, stated that the organisation and its fighters have brought various medals and achievements to the state through active participation at both national and international levels, it added.
