The district was given the opportunity to share a testimony on the impact of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Tutheyo village in the presence of the Union Minister of Jal Shakti.
The interaction highlighted how access to safe drinking water has positively transformed daily life in the village. The programme concluded with visits to the National War Memorial and India Gate.
The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Kiphire noted that while there was nothing extraordinary to report administratively, the representation of Tutheyo village at the national level stands as a "proud moment for the district and a strong testimony to the success of the Jal Jeevan Mission in rural Nagaland".
