- KOHIMA — The
Trinity Day celebration recognised the efforts of twenty teachers and schools
in Kohima and Dimapur. A total of nine schools and teachers in Kohima and 11 in
Dimapur were awarded for sending students to appear in music exams through
Trinity College London for the past 10 years.
- The awards were presented during the celebration programme
held in Dimapur and Kohima on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
- The teachers and schools awarded in Kohima were Khyochano
Ngully, Rokopheno Chase,G Rio School, Musical Offerings, Seno Whiso, School of
Music, Kohima, Music Academy Kohima, Chieli Music Academy and Imlimoa.

- Meanwhile in Dimapur, Ezono K John, Nise Meruno, Mountain
Music Academy, Note Grid School of Music, Kings Wood Music School, Equip
Musician Core, School of Music, Dimapur, The Note Music Academy, The Institute
for Music Education, Excel School of Music, and Aküvüto Music School were
awarded.
- Trinity Day was held to celebrate the value of the teaching
community and institutes that have supported the international board assessment
qualifications, which are globally recognised and were introduced in Nagaland
in 2008.
- At the celebration programme in Kohima, Khyochano TCK, Local
Area Representative, Nagaland, Trinity College London noted that since the
establishment of the college in 1876, the syllabus evolved over the years to
suit different learners and generations. She added the college programmes are
innovative and refreshing.
