Tourism department launches tourist information centres–cum–ILP facilitation counters in Dimapur.

DIMAPUR — The Tourism department, in collaboration with the district administration of Dimapur and Chümoukedima, has set up tourist information centres–cum–ILP facilitation counters at the Senior Tourist Officer’s (STO) office, Dimapur, and Dimapur Airport.
These centres will facilitate and issue offline tourist Inner Line Permits (ILP) for visitors entering Nagaland, a DIPR report stated.
The tourist information centre at STO office is conveniently located within walking distance from the Railway station and bus stand, and the centre caters to tourists arriving by road and rail, while the tourist information counter at Dimapur Airport, located at the arrival area of the airport, will cater to tourists arriving by air.
Visitors may also find the locations on Google Maps by selecting ‘Tourist Information Centre’ or reach the helpline at +91-6909636762 for assistance.

The tourist information counters process only offline tourist ILPs.

The tourist information centre–cum–ILP facilitation counter at Dimapur was formally activated by Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, along with ADC Dimapur Zakabo V Rotokha, STO Dimapur, Keholeno Kennao, and other officials and staff of the Tourism department.
Earlier, the tourist information counter at Dimapur Airport was launched by Deputy Commissioner of Chümoukedima, Polan John, in the presence of officials from the Tourism department.
