Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio invites former chief ministers to attend the Hornbill Festival inaugural event, featuring global partner countries.

DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has extended greetings to former Chief Ministers SC Jamir, KL Chishi and Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu on the occasion of Nagaland Statehood Day, and invited them to attend the inaugural programme of the 26th Hornbill Festival.
According to an official communiqué, the invitation was issued in a letter addressed to the former leaders, requesting them to attend the opening ceremony scheduled for December 1 at 4 pm at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
The letter stated that this year’s edition of the festival will feature six partner countries—France, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Malta and Ireland—along with Arunachal Pradesh as the Partner State. It informed that reserved VVIP seating has been arranged for the former chief ministers.
