Toi Gol Lom felicitates meritorious students in Ahthibung

DIMAPUR — The Toi Gol Lom (TGL), Ahthibung town, felicitated the Kuki community’s HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2025 toppers at a function held at EBRC hall, Ahthibung town, Peren district, on October 2.

The event was organised to honour the academic excellence and encourage young achievers to pursue education with dedication and resilience, a DIPR report stated.

President of Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN), L Singsit, the special guest of the event, in his keynote address, inspired students with personal experiences and an anecdote about ants, emphasising perseverance, teamwork, and determination as essential qualities for success.

The programme began with a prayer by UPC Ahthibung town, Pastor Thangboi Haokip, followed by invocation and blessings from executive secretary of KBAN, Rev. David Vaiphei.

Lulun Kuki highlighted the origins of TGL and its role in community development.

Certificates and mementos were presented to the school toppers by TGL secretary Paotinmang Limsong, while dignitaries were felicitated by TGL chairman Jimmy Hangsing.
