Toddler slapped at Dimapur bakery; case taken up by CWC

DIMAPUR — In a shocking incident, a man was caught on CCTV slapping a toddler on Sunday around 3 pm at Breeze Bakery on Nyamo Lotha Road, Dimapur.

According to Dimapur Police, no complaint or FIR has been filed as of October 6. However, the case has been taken up by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Dimapur.

It was reported that the Child Helpline intervened in the matter on Monday evening and subsequently forwarded the case to CWC, Dimapur.
