DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) has announced the re-empanelment of three private hospitals under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) for the financial year 2025–2026.
The society issued a notification on Friday informing that the re-empanelled hospitals include Christian Institute of Health Sciences & Research (CIHSR), Chümoukedima; Faith Hospital and Institute of Medical Sciences, Dimapur; and Nikos Hospital, Dimapur.
With this re-empanelment, beneficiaries of AB PM-JAY and CMHIS can now avail themselves of cashless treatment at these hospitals.

The NHPS reiterated its commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare by re-empanelling more private hospitals across the state.
Beneficiaries have been advised to visit the official CMHIS portal (https://cmhis.nagaland.gov.in/hospitals/2) to access the updated list of empanelled hospitals and available speciality services.
Meanwhile, the society issued a separate statement expressing raised concern over reports that some empanelled hospitals were operating on a “reimbursement only” basis, contrary to the mandated cashless system under AB PM-JAY and CMHIS.
In response, the NHPS reminded all empanelled hospitals to strictly adhere to cashless treatment protocols and refrain from imposing additional charges on patients.
Beneficiaries have been asked to present their AB PM-JAY/CMHIS card at the time of hospital admission; and report immediately if they are asked to pay for services such as medicines, diagnostics, or are charged above approved package rates.
Such instances should be reported via the NHPS toll-free helpline at 1800-202-3380 or by email at support-nhps@cmhis.nagaland.gov.in, it stated.
