Three girl students receive Sudha Das Memorial Meritorious Award 2026

DIMAPUR — The 4th edition of the Sudha Das Memorial Meritorious Award 2026 ceremony for Class 10 girl students was held on Friday at the Multi Utility Hall of the Ruzhukhrie Higher Secondary School in Kohima.
The award has been instituted for the girl students of the school by the family of Late Sudha Das, former headmaster of the school. Two categories of the award are presented to highest scorer and second highest scorer in the HSLC exams for girl students. The awards carry a cash of INR 50,000 and INR 40,000 along with citations.
The award for the highest scorer this year was given to Visezonuo Vakha (95.6%) and two second highest scorers were given to L Lenyung Angh and Thejalhounuo Kenguruse, both scoring 77%, and were awarded INR 30,000 each.
The main motive behind the award was to encourage students in their endeavours.
