
Kekhrieneitso Angami celebrates victory at Aturto 3.0 in

- DIMAPUR — Fighters
from The Combat Academy, training under Coach Khriemelie Metha, competed at
Aturto 3.0, one of the major MMA events in the country, held on April 26 in
Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh.
- According to an update, Goodwin Ningshen showed effective
ground control and takedowns but lost via split decision to Assam’s Pankaj Das
from Dojang MMA in a semi-professional bantamweight bout.
- In the professional featherweight division, Kekhrieneitso
Angami defeated Mumbai’s Nishant Karkera via unanimous decision after three
rounds.

- A former Kumite Warrior’s Hunt Fight League Champion,
Kekhrieneitso’s win qualifies him for the semi-finals of the 8-Man
Featherweight Grand Prix for Aturto’s first Featherweight Championship Belt. He
will face Nilesh Chaudhary from New Delhi in August. The Grand Prix final is
scheduled for December.
