Tepuleho Pusa donated land at Manglumukh Village, Chümoukedima, to several Naga wrestling champions on March 14.

DIMAPUR — Tepuleho Pusa fulfilled his pledge by donating land measuring 100 feet x 100 feet at Manglumukh village, Chümoukedima, to the Naga wrestling champions on Saturday.
It may be mentioned that the winner of the 30th NWA Naga Traditional Wrestling was Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü, the ASA Wrestling was Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü, and the SASA Wrestling was Atuo Tevo.
According to the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) Media Cell, Pusa had previously donated a similar plot of land to the Viswema Youth Organisation Wrestling champion Kevime Vitsu.
The formalities of handing over the plots to the champions were carried out in the presence of office bearers of the NWA, Angami Sports Association (ASA), Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA), Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA), and elders and leaders from the villages of the champions.

Addressing the gathering, NWA President Vivolie Kezo appealed to the champions not to sell the donated land but to live together in harmony as good neighbours. He further acknowledged and thanked the land donor for his donations.
Pusa further declared the area Miavimia Badze.
According to the release, the donation was made in appreciation and recognition of the indigenous sport and to encourage young and upcoming wrestlers. Pusa further donated land of the same proportion to Venuzo Dawhuo, the two-time NWA champion, in recognition of his achievements in wrestling.
The Nagaland Wrestling Association stated that it remains touched and inspired by the act of generosity. It expressed the hope that the recipients would utilise the donated land uprightly and justly.
