DIMAPUR — The office of the Tening Town Youth Organisation (TTYO) was inaugurated on June 20 at Tening town, attended by Volie Rentta, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Tening, as a special guest.
The event also had the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Tening and the Chairperson of Tening Town Council, Lungchui, along with other town stakeholders.
According to a DIPR report, Rentta, speaking on the occasion, emphasised the importance of youth being innovative, creative, and committed to promoting peace and unity in the town.
He stated that the newly established office will serve as a hub of creativity and leadership, developing responsible youth who will work with all stakeholders to make Tening town a more vibrant place.

Lungchui emphasised that while losing money or health is significant, losing character is the greatest loss, urging the youth to serve society now when they are at their physical and mental peak.
He encouraged them to confront the town’s challenges by supporting one another and fostering unity among themselves to achieve greater success in the future.
Earlier, in his welcome address, TTYO joint secretary Ekero thanked the Tening Town Council for the office building room.
