Tening, Jakhama hold coordination meets for Independence Day celebration

DIMAPUR — In preparation for the forthcoming Independence Day celebration, coordination meetings were held in both Tening and Jakhama to ensure the smooth conduct of the events on Thursday.

In Tening, the coordination meeting with heads of offices (HoOs) and educational institutions was held at the conference hall of the ADC office, chaired by EAC Ihoilung Chuilo, during which various tasks were assigned to the departments, according to a DIPR report.

The EAC, on the occasion, urged all HoOs to ensure the timely completion of all assigned tasks for the success of the programme.

The meeting was attended by all the HoOs and educational institutions under Tening, as well as the Tening Town Council chairman.

The coordination meeting in Jakhama was convened by the SDO (C) Jakhama, Vineikho Tetso, at the DBS Court.

During the discussion, the house resolved to repair the road from the National Highway to the SDO office through voluntary contributions from the colony residents and staff under the Jakhama Sub-Division.

Tetso urged all officers to ensure their offices remain open regularly and that attendance is properly maintained.

Furthermore, he requested all departmental officials to be present and participate in the Independence Day function on August 15 without fail.
