Team Nagaland shines at National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activities silver jubilee awards 2025 ceremony in New Delhi.

DIMAPUR — A 21-member delegation from Nagaland made remarkable impression at the National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activities (NIFAA) silver jubilee awards 2025 ceremony held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 21 to the 24th.
NIFAA, one of the country’s largest non-profit organisations and a Guinness World Record holder, hosted the event.
An update from Team Nagaland stated that Affe Winkangshu and Rhutsomu Pfithu received state awards in recognition of their exceptional service and significant contributions to society.

Additionally, eight young achievers selected from each district of Nagaland were honoured with the young champion community awards for their impactful community work as social media influencers, social workers, NSS volunteers and public figures.
The award recipients included C Chatwang Konyak from Mon, Khumo H from Noklak, Kipangwala Longchar from Mokokchung, Enyuh Phom from Longleng, Tinglem Konyak from Chümoukedima, Thritong Sangtam from Kiphire, Nüveta Khüsoh from Kohima and Mezilung Nchang from Peren.
Adding a vibrant cultural touch to the occasion, a troupe from the Konyak community captivated the audience with a traditional dance performance that showcased the rich and diverse heritage of northeast India. The performance received an enthusiastic response from over 2,000 spectators in attendance.
It further stated that the participation of Team Nagaland highlighted the state’s dynamic cultural presence and the remarkable contributions of its citizens to social development and community empowerment.
