Comptroller and Auditor General of India is organising the fourth National Online Essay Competition 2025.

DIMAPUR — The Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, celebrating 166 years of its rich legacy, is organising the fourth National Online Essay Competition 2025 as part of the Audit Diwas celebrations.
This nationwide contest invites youths (aged 15 – 29 years as on 1st August 2025) to share ideas on transparency, accountability, and good governance, highlighting the CAG’s role in strengthening democracy and public trust, the Accountant General (Audit), Nagaland, stated in a press release.
The competition, hosted on the MyBharat portal, begins with an online quiz to shortlist participants. Shortlisted candidates will then upload essays of up to 1,500 words in Hindi or English. The top three essays in each language will win prizes. A screening quiz to shortlist candidates is now live on the MyBharat portal.

Important dates are as follows: Screening quiz (Sep. 23 –Oct. 5), essay upload for shortlisted candidates (Oct. 8 to the 15th), declaration of results on CAG website (Oct. 31)
Prizes (for each language) are INR 50,000 (first prize), INR 40,000 (second), and INR 30,000 third).
Besides, merit certificates will be awarded for the top 100 essays in each language.
Winners will be honoured by the CAG of India on Nov. 16, 2025, in Delhi with travel and stay.
