DIMAPUR — Team Metamorphosis, Wokha, on Tuesday concluded a 10-day student internship programme at Hotel Hornbill and Restaurant, Tsumang Colony, Wokha, providing ten students from Mt. Tiyi College with hands-on training in hotel management during their summer break.


According to an update, the students, who were pursuing internships in Hotel Management, specifically in Food and Beverage (F&B), were provided with hands-on experience in hotel operations and management.


It said that they developed skills and knowledge in hospitality industry practices under the guidance of Renben Yanthan, a graduate of the Team Metamorphosis Skill Development Project in the F&B sector.

During the internship, they learnt essential skills such as setting up table manners in catering, customer service etiquette, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.


It was mentioned that the students' performance was evaluated based on attendance and punctuality, task completion and quality, teamwork and collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills, and problem-solving and initiative.


They received training materials and notes and were also tasked with submitting an experience journal to the team within a week.
