DIMAPUR — The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Chiechama, successfully conducted a three-day training programme on “Innovative teaching practices” for primary and elementary teachers from July 30 to August 1 at EBRC hall in Peren town.
An update from DIET Chiechama stated that a total of 50 teachers from various schools under EBRC Peren block participated in the three-day training programme. The training focused on equipping teachers with practical and innovative pedagogy methods to enhance classroom learning experiences in different subjects at the primary and elementary level.
Simultaneously, a community awareness programme was organised on July 31 at the auditorium of Government Middle School (GMS) in Peren town on the theme “The role of community support and participation in school education through innovative practices.”

The programme brought together 100 participants representing 15 different organisations in Peren town.
In a related programme, a three-day training on innovative teaching conducted at EBRC Ahthibung under Peren district by officials from DIET, Wokha. The training, which was conducted from July 30 to August 1, was attended by 40 teachers under EBRC Ahthibung.
