Teacher: Pillar of Knowledge, Strength, Guiding Force and Founding Society

On the occasion of “Teachers’ Day”, I greet and salute the teachers who facilitate the development of a student's social, emotional, and intellectual skills, assisting them in making well-informed choices in life.

Teachers are the guides in our lives. They not only teach us how to read and write but also instill good discipline, values, and the true art of living. Just as a lamp dispels darkness and spreads light, teachers remove ignorance and illuminate us with the light of knowledge. Our parents give us life, but it is the teachers who truly teach us how to live that life well, make the right decisions, and become useful members of society. They recognise our weaknesses and inspire us to move forward. In today’s modern world, where technology and the internet have made studying easier, I believe the importance of teachers has only increased. Mobile phones and computers can provide us with information, but only a teacher can teach us to distinguish right from wrong, understand moral values, and walk the path of humanity

A teacher is essential in influencing our future. In today’s world, careers like engineering or medicine are highly regarded, but those individuals would not have achieved their positions without the guidance of teachers. A teacher conveys the knowledge they possess.

Teachers are not just people; nature, plants, furniture, writing instruments, the internet, and society itself also serve as teachers if viewed through the perspective of a learner.

Students resemble malleable clay, waiting to be crafted into something exceptional. A teacher shapes and guides the intellects of students to develop into remarkable leaders. If guided properly by their teacher, they can grow to be a valuable asset to society. Conversely, if led astray, they might become an agent of chaos. We see evidence of this frequently on news broadcasts today. A teacher's positive demeanor has a significant impact on their students. This occurs because students interact with the teacher daily over many years, mimicking their behavior and habits.

A young child begins by crawling and eventually progresses to walking. After that, the child embarks on the journey of their academic education. A teacher in schools not only instruct children in reading and writing but also impart essential qualities that one should possess, such as discipline, punctuality, courage, empathy, honesty, obedience, respect, and more. A teacher not only shows students how to make a living but also helps them become better individuals and make wiser choices throughout life

Teachers resemble candles that sacrifice themselves to illuminate the future of upcoming generations. Without teachers, where would the nation’s leaders emerge from? Without teachers, from where do doctors, engineers, lawyers, and others arise?

Teaching is a unique profession wherein individuals earn respect from students and society throughout their careers and even posthumously. Once someone holds the title of 'teacher', they remain a teacher for life. Teachers serve as role models not just for young children but for the entire country

Mother gives birth to us, a teacher gives life to us; a void remains in our life when there is no balance.
