Mass social work and walkathon mark Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign in Pfutsero and Dimapur.

KOHIMA — In response to the nationwide call for the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign, the administration of Pfütsero and the Pfutsero Town Council (PTC), in coordination with Dr. Neisatuo Mero, MLA of the 16 Pfutsero Assembly Constituency (AC), organised a mass social work across the town on Saturday.
The initiative was joined by the citizens of Pfutsero town, who came together to contribute to the cleanliness drive. The event was aimed at creating awareness on the importance of cleanliness, which would lead to healthy living.
The concerned MLA expressed happiness and gratitude especially to the people for their enthusiastic participation.

An update stated that Dr. Mero along with the chairman of PTC and his councilors visited the Pfutsero town dumping site and common graveyard and deliberated on how to improve and properly maintain the two sites.
In a separate programme, the office of the Joint Controller Communication Accounts, Department of Telecommunications, NE-II Circle, Dimapur, on Saturday organised a walkathon with enthusiastic participation from the staff.
An update from the office stated that the event was aimed at spreading awareness on the importance of cleanliness and collective responsibility in building a healthier environment.
The walkathon, led by assistant controller, Mousumi Ghosh, raised slogans on promoting cleanliness and hygiene, showcasing their commitment to the national vision of a cleaner and greener India. The walkathon was held at Naga Shopping Arcade area.
Report stated that the initiative not only highlighted the importance of individual’s responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness but also reinforced the collective resolve of the organisation to actively contribute towards the goals of Swachhata Hi Seva.
