Sungkomen cruise into Mokokchung Inter-Ward final with convincing 3–1 win over Artang

Sungkomen defeat Artang 3-1 to enter Mokokchung Inter-Ward Tournament final after dominant semifinal performance at Imkongmeren Sports Complex.

MOKOKCHUNG — Sungkomen marched into the final of the Mokokchung Inter-Ward Football Tournament 2026 with a convincing 3–1 victory over Artang in the first semifinal at Imkongmeren Sports Complex on Wednesday.

Tarepnungdang put Sungkomen ahead in the 10th minute. Artang pulled one back through Chubalemba in the 52nd minute, but Lipoksungba restored the two-goal cushion in the 61st minute. Lipoksunep then sealed the win with a clinical finish in the 68th minute.

Sungkomen’s Aotoshi was shown a yellow card in the 47th minute.
