Subroto Cup selection tournament announced

• DIMAPUR — The District Sports Officer, Kohima, Dziesebenuo Vizo, has informed all schools and institutions in Kohima and Tseminyu districts that entries are now open for the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2025.

• According to a DIPR report, entries are now open under the categories of under-15 boys and under-17 girls for the state-level tournament.
• 
  
• The terms and conditions for the tournament include that participating teams will be responsible for all expenses, including travel, accommodation, and other related costs. Additionally, a nominal team allowance will be provided by the directorate, based on the number of teams expressing interest.

• A detailed roadmap, schedule, and further guidelines will be shared once acceptance letters are received from the participating schools. The tournament will consist of six pools, with the top team from each pool advancing to the league-cum-final selection round.

• The topper of the league will go on to represent the state at the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2025.
