DIMAPUR — As part of its one district one activity “Care For Her” initiative, the Lions Club of Dimapur Elite organised an awareness programme on financial literacy-cum-entrepreneurship at Pranab College in Dimapur on Friday.
An update from the club stated that the session on “Work & Wealth: Building financial independence,” was thoughtfully designed to promote financial awareness and entrepreneurial thinking, particularly among young women. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 200 students, teachers, club members and the college management team.
The session was conducted by Nischay Jain, co-founder and director of Addwell Wealth, along with Komal Jain, associate partner of Addwell Wealth. They shared valuable insights on financial planning, wealth creation and entrepreneurship, making the session highly engaging and informative.

The programme was attended by the principal, vice principal and coordinator of IQAC of the college.
It mentioned that the session focused on empowering participants with practical knowledge on ‘Managing personal finances with discipline and confidence,’ ‘Understanding the fundamentals of saving and basic investments,’ ‘Exploring opportunities for entrepreneurship and income generation,’ and ‘Building sustainable financial independence for themselves and their families.’
It added that an interactive segment was also conducted, allowing participants to actively engage with the speakers, ask questions and gain clarity on various financial concepts.
Meanwhile, the club has affirmed to continue its commitment to community development through meaningful initiatives.
