KOHIMA — Carl Roger’s Institute of Mental Health and Research Centre (CRIMHRC) has conducted a seminar on mental health awareness and stress management at Christ King School in Kohima on Wednesday.
An update from the Centre stated that the seminar was organised to create awareness on the vital importance of psychological well-being among students. It stated that the students were provided comprehensive psycho-education on various aspects of mental health, detailing the risks and consequences associated with poor emotional well-being.
A primary focus of the event was to equip students with the tools to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy stress, identify personal warning signs and implement effective, practical coping strategies in their daily lives.
It stated that the seminar served as an engaging platform that encouraged students to prioritise their mental wellness and overall health.
