- DIMAPUR — The Pathso Nokeng Students’ Union
(PNSU) expressed deep shock and outrage over the “tragic and mysterious death”
of its member Pesha Khiamniungan on May 24.
- In a note, the PNSU alleged that the circumstances
surrounding his death and the deliberate concealment of the incident for more than
a week by his companion raise serious questions.
- “Moreover, the contradicting statements, falsifying facts to
the investigators and non-recovery of Pesha's possessions are red flags and
obstructions to the process of investigation. However, the shocking exposé by
the digital trials proved otherwise and showed that the suspect has displayed
consciousness of guilt in due course of the investigation and gave enough room
for suspicion of foul play,” it claimed.

worked tirelessly, leading to the recovery of his body. It conveyed condolences
to the bereaved family members and prayed that God may give them strength to
overcome their hardship. It prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace.
